Restore/Repair old photographs

Occasionally a photograph comes to light that is worth including in this project but time has not been too kind to it for one reason or another.

Having already scanned hundreds of pictures and photographs over the years I felt I could tackle some restoration work myself. An example of this appears below.

The photograph above suffered from a good number of cracks and a couple of instances of areas being circled in pen. After scanning the photograph into the computer I was able to create a presentable repaired version as shown below.
