Part two

As you can see from the photograph, the bottle on the left has a very wide top where the one on the right is narrow.

The left bottle is actually a quart bottle from the days when the tops were made from waxed cardboard.

On the right is the later 600ml version which had the metal foil top - this is shown for comparison.

Note: The school milk bottles were half pint but still had the wide tops.
